Biography

Mr Ken Hyde holds a PhD in marketing from the University of Otago. His doctoral research considered the vacation decision-making processes of independent vacation travellers to New Zealand. His research work has been published in Annals of Tourism Research, Tourism Management, and the Journal of Travel Research.

 

Dr Hyde joined the Faculty of Business and Law at AUT in 2006. Dr Hyde has an ongoing interest in research methodologies, both quantitative and qualitative. He is currently supervising a number of doctoral and masters students. He is reviewer for a number of academic journals.
