Web-raising at Manurewa Marae

NZTRI have worked with Manurewa Marae since 2007 in deveoping a website and content management system for the Marae. This was successfully launched in 2008 and NZTRI continue to provide ongoing support.

In late February 2012, NZTRI was asked to facilitate a hui to discuss developments at the Marae (in education, tourism, well-being (Whare Oranga), culture/Kapahaka, and social services) and the ways they can be leveraging off internet-based technologies to fulfil their community, social and economic aspirations.  NZTRI has since been asked to submit a proposal to provide further input, development and support for this pan-tribal urban Marae and invited to consider ways to progress this research partnership.
